Breast Cancer at Twenty Four
At twenty four years old, I was diagnosed with Stage 2A hormone positive breast cancer. It was a wake up call for the years of caretaking and holding in would no longer be okay. I had a double mastectomy with immediate implant reconstruction, 4 rounds of chemotherapy, 25 rounds of radiation, and 10 years of hormone therapy.
